  • Pursued a startup idea to create an app to help people plant the right native plants in their yards to support biodiversity and regenerate local ecosystems in residential areas.

  • Led and supported an international team of 10 and checked in with them on a regular basis.

  • Made continual improvements based on observations and team needs and suggestions.

  • Oversaw various sub-teams such as communications, administration, and science teams, while also moving the project forward as a startup.

  • Virtual outreach and networking with potential users, investors, fellow founders, and professionals in the field to understand customer base and build partnerships.

  • Researched and collected a list of native plant APIs, nurseries, and other native plant resources.

  • Led and coordinated a group of about 40 individuals passionate about the environment to ideate and develop nature and climate-related business ideas.
